Peter Allen is the author of Later Comes Looking For Me, a poignant and inspiring memoir that chronicles his journey as a young father in 2001 confronting a diagnosis of Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL) with a prognosis of just five years to live. Through honest reflection and heartfelt storytelling, Peter offers readers an intimate look at the challenges, fears, and unexpected hope that defined this life-changing event.

Through the next 25 years his Leukaemia resolves itself without treatment leaving Peter to explore not only the medical mystery but also the emotional challenges and uncertainties of facing mortality early in life, alongside the strength found in love and resilience.

Later Comes Looking For Me is a testament to the power of perseverance and the human spirit’s capacity to find meaning even in the darkest times.
